As a student of our adult dance classes, you will have a team of North York dance teachers who are responsible for your progress and keeping you on track. Sergei Filiouchkine

Catherine

Catherine is Arthur Murray’s student relations and administrative professional. While she spends a lot of her time off the dance floor, she is still very much a part of the team and someone most students will get to know very well.

Catherine has worked at Arthur Murray for more than three years. One of the reasons she really enjoys working at the school is the fact she gets to watch as students “accomplish their goals and have fun while doing it.”

There is another reason why Catherine likes coming to work: “Arthur Murray is a very welcoming, warm and happy place to be where stress is left outside the door,” she says. “We’re like family here and we want you to be a part of our family.”

Brielle

Dancing has almost always been a part of Brielle’s life. As a young child, she began dancing ballet and has spent more than 20 years mastering different styles.

As a specialist/instructor, Brielle enjoys being able to share her passion for dance with others. Being able to share the experience with students is a “joy,” she says.

Brielle has been with Arthur Murray for a year and enjoys the structure it provides for students while taking them above and beyond the typical motions. “Dance lessons are more than just learning some steps. I want people to have fun and see all the great benefits dance has to offer.”

Michael

Michael is an instructor that has a passion for dance and the exuberance to inspire students. “My energy is contagious,” Michael says. “You only live once; you might as well do it to a beat and have a lot of fun.”

Michael has been with Arthur Murray for a while and says the syllabus and instructors really make the school stand out. Teaching is a reward in and of itself for Michael. “I find it most rewarding seeing faces light up when they feel how good it feels to dance.”

Farrah

Farrah is one of Arthur Murray’s dance instructors and specialists. She’s been on the dance floor herself since the age of 6 when she dreamt of becoming a ballerina. Now a passionate teacher and an avid continuing student of dance, Farrah spends her time sharing her experiences, helping others develop their skills.

She loves “dancing to music all day long” and particularly enjoys working with the team at Arthur Murray. It is her desire to keep advancing in her dance training so she can continue to offer her students more. To newcomers, she says “I assure you, everyone comes in the door the same way.” Arthur Murray instructors, she adds, start out with the basics and helps students progress and become more comfortable.
